Sustainability and ethical practices are the number one concern for ALMA. To ensure this, we decided that our materials either have to be organic or deadstock, which is when you buy excess fabrics from past collections from warehouses.
Our packaging, tags and stickers are made from recycled and recyclable paper and our clothing tags from organic cotton.
100% Portuguese
The clothing factory that we partnered with is a family business located in the outskirts of Porto. We consider it essential to produce locally, to shorten the supply chain and to support our local community. The fabrics we used were also bought from warehouses and factories near Porto.
The packaging and tags factories we work with are also located in the north of Portugal and both are certified for their ethical and sustainable methods.
